Important Updates About Corona virus (COVID-19)

Big Vision understands the significant impact that the corona virus pandemic is having on many of our local communities and the environment we live in. We continue to work with those impacted, providing a variety of support services that makes the most sense for meeting their needs.

This is a unique situation; we are in a unique position to help each other in this demanding time, especially to our homeless and less privileged communities. We intend to provide as much support services as possible during this pandemic as deemed necessary. We understand the need of those who are often easily forgotten that are part of our society and are also in need of basic lifesaving information and equipment

such as mask, food, other medical preventive materials.

Even in an emergency like this, the starting point for how to use our resources is where it’s always been: Our fundamental belief that all lives have equal value. And since we know that epidemics hit the poorest and most vulnerable communities hardest, that is where our support is chiefly directed.

This approach, underpinned by our core belief, has guided our entire response to COVID-19. Taken together, most of our work to date has focused on supporting our local communities. Baltimore and Washington metropolitan neighborhood. Charity begins at home is our philosophy. A healthy community is a healthy society. As the government is in a race to provide cure and vaccines for the Corona virus. Our organization is offering support services that will help keep many people in our local; communities safe from getting infected by the Corona virus. If one is not safe in their local communities and homes. Where can they be safe.

The poorest communities are already struggling to access even the most basic health care. An epidemic can quickly overwhelm overstretched health systems, meaning the potential for death and disruption is more pronounced amongst the less privileged communities. And as the crisis increases, so does our support to help save as many lives as possible and prevent vulnerable communities from falling back into hunger and poverty and despair.

We are all in this together.
